Playbills

Mr and Mrs Horn

The playbills listed here are copies of originals in the collection of Cheltenham Art Gallery & Museum whom I wish to thank for their time and seemingly limitless patience.

Note: the grammar, spelling and punctuation in some of the bills is a little curious but I have attempted to copy the printed word as accurately as possible.

Also mentioned in some of the bills is a Mr Oxberry who went on to write a series of biographies about his fellow thespians. His writings included Charles Edward Horn and Matilda Ray, later to become Mrs Charles Edward Horn.

Note: Some of the playbills are large files and will take a little time to open. The exact file size of each playbill is indicated in red.
