BIOGRAPHY: Bill was born May 25, 1913 at Glace Bay, Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. When he was five years old his family moved to Willows, Sask. where his father was C.P.R. station agent. In 1926 they moved to Revenue, Sask, and in 1927 they moved again to Tramping Lake where his parents stayed until his Dad retired in Red Deer (Alberta) in 1949 (Bill's Dad's death occured in Aug 1962, his mother Oct. 1962).
Bill was a U.G.G. grain buyer from 1934 to 1943 when we moved to Victoria were Bill was employed at Yarrows Ship Yards as an electrician. He was there until Oct. 1945. For the next twelve years Bill was with Blue Bird Cabs, an owner operated company.
