Esther's niece, Mary Bruen, married Samuel Durand of Newark. Their son, John Durand, moved to Maplewood NJ (then called Jefferson Village). Their 5th child was Hughes (?) B (?) Durand, artist and father of F.F. Durand, a doctor. Dr. Durand lived at the corner of Durand Rd. and Ridgewood Rd in Maplewood (4). Later, when Henrietta Phillips married Richard Atlee O'Brien, they bought a house nearby at 92 Durand Rd.
