See our records for John HARRISON - ID# 1117 son of Battaile HARRISON and Francis WHITE:
Tennessee Cousins by Worth S. Ray on page 104 states that John md Sally Ellis, dau of Charles Ellis and had children: Benjamin, Charles, Peter, Elizabeth, Sally, Delilah, and perhaps Polly and Annie.
We have perferred to use Torrence & Allied Families by Robert Torrence instead because he is the most esteemed of the two authors until such time as Mr. Ray's is proven. [S9] [S168]

Mother: Laura Williams BALL |
Minnie Hoffman Vanderveer was the sister of Warren Vanderveer. She
married J. Charles O'Brien. Interestingly, her brother married her
husbands sister, Louise Stoneall O'Brien. The early Victorian buffet
(originally called a 'sideboard') from her dining room at 131
Maplewood Ave was passed to her daughter Etta, and then to Richard A.
Weisiger and Jane Martin. Minnie gets her middle name from her
mother's friend, Susan B. Hoffman, who was a school friend of Laura
Ball in 1957.
