Notes
Frances Eubank was daughter of Richard Eubank and grandaughter of John Eubank the original settler from England. She married Charles Harrison who died young and she re-married to James Overstreet. She gave permission for Elizabeth's marriage in Goochland County to John Tuggle as Frances Overstreet.
Note: there is a marriage entry in the IGI with date about 1761 for Frances HUGHLAND and Charles HARRISON. Another marriage record in the IGI Goochland Co., VA abt 1757 shows her name as EUBANK and in the ancestral file with parents George EUBANK and Mary. Coral Babb informed us that the DAR has accepted Frances Hughland as mother of Nancy Harrison Tuggle. Family tradition information has been that she named her son James Hughland Tuggle after her Mother's maiden name.
Frances is thought to be a lot younger than Charles. [S1415] [S934]
