Arthur Johnson served at Point Pleasant, 1774, and gave one year's actual service as a soldier with the Virginia troops. At the age of sixty-three, 1820, he was placed on the pension roll of Gibson county, Indiana. Arthur Johnson applied for a pension in 1820 at the age of sixty-three, from Gibson county, Ind. It was allowed for one year's active service with the Virginia troops. Arthur Johnson, (1747-1823), was in the battle of Point Pleasant, 1774. He was born in New England; married in Virginia; died in Edgar Co., Ill.
