HOSKINS, William, Scituate 1634, of wh. no more is told by Deane, was

of Plymouth father, freem. 1634, had a s. there, b. 20 Nov. 1647; and

Samuel, 8 Aug. 1654; and d. 7 Sep. 1695; Mary, prob. his d. m. 28 Nov

1660, Edward Cobb; Sarah, perhaps his d. m. 4 Dec. 1660, Benjamin

Edson'; and perhaps ano. d. Eliz. m. 7 July 1666, Ephraim Tilson.

Possibly a son William of Taunton.

1636, Plymouth (Possibly daughter of Robert and Sarah (Rider) Cushman;

died Sept. - Dec. 1637). Married, second, Ann Hinds, 21 Dec. 1638,

Plymouth. Died 7 Sept. 1695, about 80 years old, Lakenham (Plymouth)

Mass.

Notes

George was deputy Clerk of Westmoreland under his brother in law, George Turberville, from 1740-42, at which date, he succeded him in office, and held it until his death. He also was a Burgess in 1748, 1751, and perhaps other times; was a Justice for Westmoreland in 1737; a vestryman of Cople parish in 1755.His will, dated the 13th of September, 1761, and probated, at Westmoreland, the 26th of January, 1762.
