manuscript form, states: Mary Hoskins, was dau. of William Hoskins.
'Samuall Phillipps marryed to the widdow Cobb the 15th of May 1676.'
Plymouth Col. Rec. 8-70: Mary Cobb, John Hoskins and William Hoskins,
Jr. were legatees named in will of Nicholas Hodges, dated Oct. 24,
1665.
Savage's GEN. DICT., Vol. 2: HODGES, Nicholas, Plymouth, 1643, in his
will of 24 Oct. 1665, has an alias, Miller.
Ibid, Vol. 3, MILLER, Nicholas, Plymouth, whose will of 24 Oct. 1665,
bears the name Hodges, also, may therefore be the same person borne on
the list of those able to bear arms, 1643.
