According to a Loudon Co Tenn Herald Centennial Edition jun 13 1970 "Harrison come to County in 1837". John & Susannah had one son b 1809, James Fuqua Harrison, quote; md in 1807 they bought land adjoining Eldrige & Hamilton between Muddy and Town Creeks in Grassy Valley, Roane Co and moved there shortly after their marriage; bringing with them the Jackson children, six being young and the seventh Susannah md to John B. West in 1807, also moved to Grassy Valley the same year and bought land.. In 1815 Benj. Eldridge, son of Simeon, md. Martha Jackson. The other Jackson children grew up and md into other families in this section with the exception of Hezekiah who made his will in Roane Co in 1815, leaving his estate to his brothers and sisters.
In 1837 they sold their land and moved to the Harrison Bend adjoining the land of Johns brother, James H., Jr. and his wife Eliza Lanston (md Greene Co Tenn 1814). Susannah Fuqua J.H. died at her new home Mar 17 1837. Bur. in H. cem on land John granted war of 1812. He md jun 7 1838 Nancy Hinds, dau of James Hinds and Sally Payne of Knox Co. They had seven children. His youngest son was born in 1854. Dr Will H. of Loudon , no other children names are mentioned.

Roane Co. TN Abstract Book C-1 1808-1812, p. 203 12 Oct 1809 Joseph Anderson, Jefferson Co., TN to John Harrison, Roane Co. for $1000 paid by Susannah Jackson, made bond 1 Jun 1807, to convey to Jackson 250 A in Grassey Valley. Now Susanah Jackson, by the name of Susanah Harrison, has transferred her right to the land to John Harrison, and Anderson conveys the land to Harrison. Witness: John B. West and John Jackson.
John removed to Newly organized Loudon Co, Tenn in 1837 with the 6 Jackson children. Susannah Jackson Harrison died at her new home on Mar 17, 1837. He had bought land adjoining Eldridge and Hamilton, between Muddy and Town Creeks in Grassy Valley, Roane Co. Tn . They sold this in 1837, moved to the "Harrison Bend" adjoining the land of John's brother, James Harrison, Jr. and his wife, Eliza Lanston.
