Possibly related to the Harrison family of Virginia, but not proven.
Note. Very little is known about Lucy Harrison. Some family members have believed that she was a relative, niece or cousin, of William Henry Harrison, 9th President of the United States. There are many Lucy Harrisons in the Harrison family.
Note. Some family members have believed that Lucy Harrison had a sister by the name of Electra Harrison, and that she was the "Hostess of the White House" for William Henry Harrison, 9th President of the United States, during his short term in office, March 4, 1841 to April 4, 1841. However, this is not support by recorded fact. In fact, when William Henry Harrison's wife Anna Harrison decided not to go to Washington, D.C., with him for the inauguration due to her bad health, the President-elect asked his daughter-in-law Jane Irwin Harrison, widow of his son, William Henry Harrison, to accompany him and act as "Hostess" until Anna Harrison's proposed arrival in May 1841. However, half a dozen relatives went with them.
