Mary Knox Boles writes: "I have had much trouble with this one as Margaret's tombstone in Columbus, Texas reads Margaret Hulce as does family history in Goodspeed's southeast Texas history and a more recent history of Uvalde County, Texas. I have found that the Hulseys of Georgia had many skeletons and perhaps Margaret tried to distance herself from them. It's one of those questions that are never answered." [S860]
