Deed of gift to Wm II - 1804:Union County Deed Book H pp 135-136 there is a deed of gift recorded 5 May 1804. The original Deed of Gift and William Cooper I had a son William Cooper II that he left one bed and furniture and sted and cord etc. William II went on to Giles County, Tennessee. He had a son that he named after Elijah Harrison.

In 1774 County tax list show William Cooper on Taylor's Road. 1775 Wm Cooper and wife Mry sold 118 acres of land on Meeting House Road to Joseph Taylor, witness: Elijah Mitchell and John Taylor. 1776 William is residing in Union Co. SC. 1804 William Cooper's Deed of Gift in Union Co., SC refers to children: Sally Daniel Cooper, Polly Cooper, William Cooper {This would be Rev. Wm Cooper II that went to the AR. Terr.} Richard Cooper and Abner Cooper.

It is interesting to note that in J.W. Cooper's letter, he recalls that William Cooper was with Daniel Boone when they laid out the line in Kentucky. I believe I have found proof that he indeed was with Daniel Boone. (Gary S. Cooper) ^[S248] ^[S89] ^[S89]
