Notes

Richard T. was a methodist minister and a mason. He received a Masonic obituary. An unusual characteristic in him was that he refused to own slaves at a time when slave ownership was the way of the culture.

The had 14or 15 chldren.

!NOTE:About 1859 Richard Crowson and family immigrated from Shelby Co., AL, to Winston Co., MS, and both he and his wife Rebecca Ann died there.
