Otto had two wives and it is presently unknown which wife was mother
of Richilde. He m. (1) Edith (Line 45-17), d. 947, granddau. of Alfred
the Great of England; m. (2) aft. 951, St. Adelaide of Lombardy, b.
931, d. Selz, Alsace, 16 Dec 999, dau. of Rudolph II, King of
Burgundy, and wid. of Lothair of Italy. It was possibly St. Adelaide
because the name Richilde appears later in the pedigree from his son
Otto II, who was son of St. Adelaide.
