Two death dates given: 11 Mar 1896 by John Bales. Also: Thomas Alsup (Alsop) Harrison's birthplace is still open for debate. The 1850 & 1869 census of Itawamba Co., MS lists his b/p as TN; however, the 1870 census for Sevier Co., AR lists his b/p as AL. The 1850/1860 for Itawamba Co. shows Thomas' brother John born in AL. The 1880 and 1900 census for Little River Co., AR show his birthplace as TN; the 1910 census (same county) shows AL, and the 1920 census (same county) shows TN.
