Notes

John Cleves Symmes Harrison was appointed to a position in Vincennes by his father. He moved back in the Harrison Mansion in Vincennes with his bride. Symmes and his wife both died young and the mansion was left to the children. It was in the Harrison's hands till around 1850 when the children were of age to sell it. ^[S863]
