Mother: Catherine (Maloni) MALONE |
It is circumstantial evidence that name Terrence as the son of Patrick Clark. He may be the son of another Terrence Clark. He is living in Avoyelles Parish, near James Clark, known son of Patrick, in the early 1800s and he uses the same godparents for his children.
At the bapt record of his dau Bridget at St. Paul's church, it states that he and his wife are inhabitants of Avoyelles Parish but natives of Ireland.
He is probably the Terence Clark who was a volunteer for the War of 1812 from Rapides Parish.
Land Claim in Rapides Parish of 169 acres, American State Papers, Vol 2, p 819. In a deposition taken 24 Oct 1812 he states he had been a resident on the north side of Red River, at Point Maigre, living there from 1797- 1808.
Census: 1810 Opelousas Parish, age 45
Death: He does not appear in 1820 Census
