Rev. Joseph Harrison was the first pastor of Three Forks Baptist Church and of Mt. Vernon Baptist Church in Watauga County, NC. He was removed as pastor of Three Forks when he would only pray that God's Will be done and would not pray that the South would win the war. ^[S950]
