OBITUARY: Mrs. Emma Mae Pitchford Harrisn, 72, of Martins Branch, died yesterday at the home of a son, Kenneth Harrison of Sissonville Rd. Born in Putnam County, Mrs. Harrison was the daughter of Charley and Marcell Clendenin Pitchford. Survivors include the husband, Miner W.; two daughters, Mrs. Marie Higginbotham of Allens Fork and Mrs. Hassel Bibby of Sissonville Rd.; another son, Milford of Sissonville Rd; two brothers, Virgil Pitchford of Liberty, and Will Pitchford of Dunbar; a sister, Mrs. Della Johnson of Dunbar; two half-brothers, Graves Pitchford of Dunbar; and Ivan Pitchford of Liberty; a half-sister, Mrs. Icie Fisher of Buffalo; 19 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Services will be in Emma Chapel in Putnam County tomorrow at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Hobson D. Fisher officiating. Burial wii be in the church cemetery with Cunningham mortuary in charge.
