Notes

In 'A History of the Emigration and Settlement of our Predecessors'

(family papers dated 17 APR 1892), Thomas is a great uncle of Theodore

S. Gould. Also, in a fragment of an old letter from 'cousin Nathaniel

Gould', Joseph Gould's father drowned near Little Falls (Caldwell),

supposedly born in Essex Co. He and Sanders Sanders were earliest

settlers of Caldwell, NJ, in 1740.
