!Addition data by Margaret D Lambkin-52 Donore Sq.-San Antonio TX 78229-2179 ph 210-349-7191 (94) as: "From Doris Cowart Oler a great, great granddaughter of Samuel Wilson Donnell.----Samuel Wilson Donnell and Martha Willis Hearn Donnell moved to TX in 1853 from Wilson Co TN.

They already had ten children. They Settled at Berry's Creek, just north of Georgetown. Evaline was born there in 1855. and Samuel Ebenezer in 1859".

!"Great Grandma Evaline (Donnell) Young called it "Donald". I don't much think she had a middle name. She signed her name Mrs. Eva Line Young on Court papers after Great Ganddpa Died. A few months later, she signed Mrs E L Young".

!"My Great Grandfather Barnett Harding Young was named for the Hardin family. John Wesley Hardin and his trailherders camped near my Great Grandfather's farm in Corn Hill (present day Jarrell). It's in a book written by John Wesley Haardin (his autobiography)".

I traced down a living descendant of William Donnell Sr. (R W S) thru the state registrar of the DAR. She gave me the name of a Mrs. Smith in Houston. She was 78 years old two years ago. Mrs. Smith sent me a "family tree sort of chart" by Todd Donnell Harrison. She also sent a map showing my William Donnell's farm 8 miles southwest of Lebanon, TN. It's just east of Baird's Mill on the TN map. Baird's Mill was owned by ancestors of

the Mrs. Bairds Bakeries family. My husband Stanley has worked for Mrs. Baird's since he was 20 and he is 61 now. now I've found my Donnells and the Baird's ancestory lived as neighbors"!

The above information was extracted from letters written by Doris

Cowart Oler to me (MDL) July and August 1994.

!Mrs. Oler also relates that child #3, Hixey Jane Donnell was named for her aunt Hixey Jane (Hearn) Russell. Also, child #5 Wiley H Donnell, was named for his uncle (married to Hixey Jane Hearn) Wiley Russell.

!The ages for Samuel W Donald (Donnell) and Wife Martha are definitely wrong. Ages for Peggy and Wilie were very hard to read. Careful analysis of the census recorder's handwriting was done to determine what was written. (MDL)

!The 1870 Williamson Co, TX census is somewhat confusing. Living next to Sam Donnell is Londus Hurt and wife Elizabeth. In the next dwelling is Aron Seymore and wife Martha. According to the information I (MDL) have form the paisley book and Doris Oler, daughter of Elizabeth was married to Aaron Seymour and Daughter Martha was married to Benjamin Franklin Clark????
