Gen. Charles Harrison, of the Revolution, brother of Gov. Benj. Harrison."

Note:From Elton Crowson; My father told me that his brother, Rev. David Harrison Crowson, once attended a Methodist Conference at Columbus, Miss. This must have been in the 19teens. As was the custom, ministers were assigned to stay in private homes and my uncle was the guests of HARRISONS. Dad sid they reconized kinship but what this kinship wa Dad did not know. His great-grandmother was Catherine Harrison Crowson - likely the kinship was thru one of her brothers. In 1849 a number of residents of Shelby County, Alabama, and vicenity moved to what was then Saline County, Arkansas. These included most of the Crowson families, Lindsays,Nabors and at least two Harrisons - William and Isaac - probably another, Abner.

!NOTE: probate records records names of William,Isaac, and Abner Harrison.
