Note that we have this Nathaniel, in Joyce records, as the son of Cuthbert Harrison of Brunswick ... Gabriel did have a son named Nathaniel. We need to determine how or if this James went to North Carolina. More evidence is needed to verify that Gabriel's orphan son James (orphaned about age 3) is the same James who m. Hixcey Robertson. The names of the children of James Gabriel in Joyce Barnett's records match all known children of this Gabriel. ^[S1026] ^[S51]
