Madison Courier (Daily Evening Courier), June 6, 1864, p. 2C - 22d Regiment News Company E - Killed: Private C. Harrison. Buried in The Marietta and Atlanta National Cemetery, Marietta, GA, Section C., Grave Number 541. Original interment at Rome, GA. Have copy of pension papers filed by half-brothers, Robert Harrison and Scott Harrison stating that they were minor children during the war and that Carter supported them. Robert died while these papers were being processed. They also state that Carter's mother's maiden name was Keith.
