Notes
My basic information was from the Burnet Journal, p. 123. Burnet alleged that the father of Sarah (Sally) was Ralph. I note that the records of the First Presbyterian Church, Morristown, p. 28 show Ralph Burnet, and thereunder an unknown named wife of Ralph christened in that church on 4 July 1791, and 3 children baptized there on 4 July 1791. The named children are Susanna b. 18April1780, Phebe b. 25April1784 and Sarah b. 15 May 1786 (it appears Burnet writes 14 May). It appears therefor that this Sarah is the daughter of Ralph and unnamed wife. Since Ralph does not appear in other records of that church, I have no record as to antecedents. There are several pages of records of Burnets in my copies (which I copied when getting a loan from NEHGS). My records also show that Isaac and Sarah married in Hanover in 1805.
