There is a family Fillmore Condit (1855-1939) and Jane Condit Robison
(1822-1972), family history by William Condit Robison (1914-).
Phoebe's name might be Phebe Condit, per Beach family history;
'Washington Valley: an informal history' probably spelled it wrong
when it used CONDICT, which is a local name. Jotham Halsey Condit in
his book has all of them as CONDIT, unless the family used CONDICT.
