Josiah "is said to have lived for a time in Kiser; now West VA, 'but the records show,' says the late Daniel S. Harrison, 'that he eventually moved to Franklin Co., MO.' Settlers by the LGT stated: He is thought to have been the individual named in the Cravens data as the husband of Mary Cravens, dau of John." However other records indicate clearly that a Mary Cravens (dau of John and Margaret Cravens) was married to Josiah Harrison who died in Mecklenburg Co., NC.
Migrated to Franklin Co MO bef 1827
We may not have this family completely correct yet as Pat Sohns of Burlington, Wisconsin writes, "It is troubling that there are the two additional children of Josiah Harrison and Mary Hannah Craven sited by SLGT that are not on our family genealogy (Josiah and Lethe)." [S67] [S550]
