Mother: Mary O'CONNELL |
Randall Gibson was a minister of the Methodist Church. He was active in establishing Jefferson College at Washington, MS. He attended the Constitutional Convention of State of Mississippi and helped establish statehood. His grandson was Major General Randall Lee Gibson, CSA and later senator from LA.
This couple are buried in Asbury Cemetery.
He donated the land for Jefference College.
