Mason County WV. Deed:
This indenture made the 31st day of October in the year of our Lord 1835, between Isabel Harrison, widow of Joseph Harrison Deed Reuben Harrison & Prusie his wife, Jabez Harrison & Mary, his wife, Felixe McLey & Rachel, his wife family Rachel Harrison all heirs of Joseph Harrison Deed of the one part, & Wm. Harrison of the other part witnesseth that the said parties of the first part, in consideration of fifty dollars to them in hand paid the reicipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, hath bargained & sold & by their presents each of them doth bargain & sell unto the said Wm. Harrison his heirs & assigns all & each of their wrights & title in & to a certain tract or parcel of land located on the Mud Lick Fork of Thirteen Mile Creek, in the County of Mason & State of Virginia the same being a tract of land now belonging to the said parties of the first part, in common with others, infant heirs of said Joseph Harrison Deed & Contains by estimation three hundred and seventy four & one tenth acres be it the same more or less. To have & to hold all the right & title of the said parties of the first part, together with all and singular the appurtenances thereto belonging unto the said Wm. Harrison his heirs & assigns forever & the said parties of the first part for themselves and their heirs doth covenant & agree to & with the said Wm. Harrison his heirs & assigns their respective rights & titles with all & singular the appurtenances thereto belonging in & to said tract of land as aforesaid, free from the claim or claims of them the said parties of the first part, their & each of their heirs & all other persons wheresoever shall & will by their presents warrant & forever defend in testimony any whereof the said parties of the first part hath hereunto set their honor & seals the day & years first above written.
