We known nothing definite about Lydia Robbins. There was an AMMI RUHAMAH ROBBINS who was a DAR patriot who married Elizabeth Le Baron. He was from Conn.
He has the strange name of AMMI. Lydia had a grandson named AMI FULLER BROMLEY. Is there a connection?
More on this possible connection: FRANCIS LE BARON ROBBINS, PA was born at Ripon, Wis on Sept 3, 1855. He married May 18, 1882 Helen Gill. He was the son of SAMUEL ROBBINS of Philadelphia, PA, born at Norfolk, CT. He married 1817 Fannie Osbourne; He was the son of AMMI RUHAMAH, born at Bradford, CT, 1740 graduate of Yale College 1760, pastor at Norfolk, CT 1761-1813, one of the first trustees of Williams College. He married ELIZABETH LE BARON, gt gr grdaughter of Gov. William Bradford of Plymouth; He was the son of PHILEMAN ROBBINS, born at Cambridge 1709 graduate of Harvard College 1729, pastor at Bradford, CT 1732-81; son of NATHANIEL ROBBINS, born at Cambridge 1677. He married 1695 Hannah Chandler; son of NATHANIEL ROBBINS, born at Cambridge 1649. He married 1669 MARY BRAZIER; son of RICHARD ROBBINS, born in England who came to America 1639, settling first at Charlestown and soon removed to Cambridge, MASS.
EARLY MASS MARRIAGES by Frederic Bailey, Book II, states that Rev. Ammi Ruhama Robbins of Norfold, Conn marr Mrs. Elizabeth Le Baron on 3 May 1762.
