To the left around the curve is the hillside on
which William Monre ELLIS & his wife Lucy BOWLING are buried in the
ELLIS Family Cemetery. To the right is the Tennessee River & Watts
Bar Lake. Straight ahead would have been Rockwood Ferry Landing, land
