Henry John Ellis was proving to be hard to research as I was having trouble finding birth or baptism records for Gibraltar. That was until I happened to find him in the 1851 UK census living with his parents in Powderham, Devon. Thanks to Beverly Tracey for information on the Ellis family in Powderham. |
