I Thomas Hanks of the City of Gloucester Yeoman--
being of sound mind memory and understanding do ---
therefore make this my last Will and Testament in manner
& form following viz. First and Principally--
I commit my Soul to the Almighty God my body to --
the Earth there to be Serenlly buried according to the ---
Discretion of my Executors hereinafter named Then I --
give and devise to my Nephew Robert Hanks of Bristol -
all that my Meadow or Pasture ground lyeing at -----
Longhope in the County of Gloucester TO HOLD to him
his heirs and Assigns for ever Then I give and Desire
to my Heire Elizabeth Dyer all that my Messuage or ---
Tenement with the Appurtenances Situate in the Parish
of Saint Aldate in Gloucester wherein one John Griffin now
dwells to hold to her her Heirs and Assigns for ever ---
Then I give to my Heire Margaret Organ all my ----
Household Goods of what Nature or Kindsoever And I do
also give and desire to my said Heire Margaret Organ -
the house wherein I now live with its Appurtenances ---
to hold to her Heirs, and Assigns forever Then I give
to my Nephews, Richard Hanks, William Hanks, and
John Hanks Nine Pounds a piece and I also give to
my Heire Ruth T(L)ark nine pounds Then I give to my Couzs?
Also Hear's Two Children Francis and Margaret four ---
pounds apeice All which begaines ? shall be paid by my ---
Executor herein after named within one week next after my
DisCease and I do order my Executor to expend Ten Pounds
upon my funeral Then I give to my said Nephew Robert Hank_
all my ready money, Bonds, Notes, and Securities for money
and all other my Personal Estate not herein before disposed
of and I do hereby make and appoint my said Nephew Robert
Hanks sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament
hereby revoking all former Wills by me made Inwitness
whereof I have hereunto set my hand and Seal this sixth
day of April in the Twentieth Year of the Reign of our
Sovereign Lord George the Second by the Grace of God of
Great Britain and so forth and in the Year of our Lord One
Thousand Seven Hundred and Forty Seven----------------

Consistory Official Principal Lawfully Constituted by Robert Hanks
Nephews & Sole Executor & so forth to whom & so forth having first Sworn
well & faithfully to Administer to the said Will and also to Exhibit
an Inventory & render & account & soforth
