Lightning Cake

Ingredients
|
| 1/4 Lb Butter | 1/4 Lb Flour | |
| 1/4Lb Sugar | Yolk of 2 Eggs | |
| Whites of 3 Eggs | Juice of 1 Lemon | |
| 1/2 teaspn Baking Powder |

Method

| Beat the whites
and the yolks of the eggs separately, and mix with the butter.
Add flour, sugar, lemon juice and baking powder and beat well. Pour into a buttered tin. Sprinkle with sugar and bake in a medium oven. |
