Can we e'er forget his footsteps,
Or his dear kind loving face.
May the heavenly winds blow
softly'
O'er the sweet and hallowed spot
Where our loved one now lies
sleeping
Who will never be forgot
Tis sweet to know we'll meet

where parting is no more
And that the one we loved so well

following Tuesday mother and child were laid to rest in Emo Cemetery, the services being attended by an immense
concourse of people.Mrs. Jewell who was a miss Mary Hamilton the daughter of Mr. And Mrs. William Hamilton of

deep sympathy of all. Mrs. Jewell besides leaving a husband and five children, four brothers and four sisters all of
whom are living in this district except Mrs. James Saunders of Winnipeg . Mrs. J.T. Webb a sister lives in Fort
Frances. Mrs. Jewell was only 34 years of age and had always been in the best of health but complications following
confinement caused her sudden death. Some criticism of the reckless manner in which the minister and undertaker drove
to the cemetery has been made by some of those who attended the funeral ,the rapid driving seeming quite out of place
at a funeral, especially as the roads were none too smooth.
