There are very few pictures of Ruth Violet Hamilton ,she had a stroke quite young maybe with the birth of one of the babies ? Her mouth was twisted in most pictures ,she probably wasn't fond of getting her picture taken. Ruth Violet Hamilton was the second oldest daughter of Janet Aikens and William Hamilton she was born in Ste. Gabriel de Valcartier Quebec, October 09, 1885. She married John Thomas Webb an English soldier stationed in Quebec City.

John Hamilton was born in St. Gabriel de Valcartier Quebec September 30, 1889. He married 

William Hamilton,standing David Hamilton left John right William Hamilton was born June 10, 1879,in St. Gabriel de Valcartier Quebec,he was married several times and widowed once,he had one child by his second marriage to Mary Smithson, a boy Gordon ,Gordon's descendants live in Ontario today. but we have only traced one  David was born May 20, 1883 also in St. Gabriel and he married a Valcartier girl Annie Corrigan they moved with the family to Alyesworth Ontario there many Hamilton and McKinnon descendants still live in the area today. 

  Adam Hamilton youngest son of William and Janet was born April 03, 1897 in Ste. Gabriel de Valcartier Quebec. Adam died fighting in WWI September 02, 1918 in Vimy Ridge France
