The following schedule is in the probate records of John M. Slack, Jr. (son of John M. Slack, Sr. and his 2nd wife Elizabeth Nickerson). These records were found in the Macon County MO Courthouse. John M Slack died in Ethel, MO on January 24, 1927. The Proof of Death certificate was signed by his sisters Harriet C. Hague and Elizabeth Lane, both of Ethel, MO. On the Inventory, Mrs. J. E. Hague purchased a bed and trunk. Also, it is interesting to note that his sister Elizabeth Lane died sometime between the date she signed the certificate pertaining to his death and the final distribution date of May 26th, 1928. He is buried in the White Cemetery, which is a few miles NW of Ethel, MO.

From the above record and other known information, it can be concluded that, Mary Slack, daughter of John M. Slack, Sr and Elizabeth W. Pipes, married Amanda's husband M. F. Richardson after Amanda died. Amanada was a daughter of Elizabeth Nicherson's first marriage. Mary Slack had no children of her own. She raised Berry Richardson (son of Amanda Nickerson and M. F. Richardson).
