All the Singletons who married into the Ray family were from Lincoln Co. Kentucky. Lucy Singleton who married Willis Ray was the daughter of John Singleton and Mary White.
William Riley Singleton and Benjamin Mason Singleton are believed to be the sons of Elizabeth Singleton , she would be a niece of the John Singleton above ,daughter of Robert Singleton ,John's older brother
So far no father has been found for Elizabeth's children she later marries William T. Murphy in 1837 and her youngest son uses the name Murphy.
The parents of John and Robert Singleton were Christopher Singleton and Sarah Hunley .
note-Christopher Singleton is sometimes seen in family trees on the internet as Christopher Columbus Singleton, I have never seen any evidence of this in records , it may have been passed down by family.
