John Weber

John H. Weber was born in Balzer Russia on Dec. 31 1910. His parents were John H. Weber and Molly Weber (surname unknown). Molly's parents had owned some kind of a Mill in Balzer.They had 5 Children. John was the oldest. The other 4 childern were born in Friend Nebraska. They were Minny born around 1912. Emily born around 1914. Twin boys Rudy and Robert born around 1916.

The Webers left Balzer in 1912 from Brehmen Germany on the USS. Rhein. They arrived in Baltimore Maryland and then proceeded to relocate to Friend Nebraska. They were sponsored into the US by Mr. Fred Weber.

John H. Weber Sr. died in 1918 due to exposure working in either a ice cream factory or a meat packing factory. Molly then married Jacob Hergert who lost his wife due to a train hitting the carriage they were in. Jacob Hergert had 4 daughters. The youngest was given up for adoption. Jacob Hergert was from Siberia Russia.

Molly and Jacob relocated to Windsor Colorado where they worked as farmers. John Jr. had to drop out of school in the eigth grade to help work the farm. John did manage to get his GED attending night school.

Jacob Hergert took all the familys money and left in 1928 to find the girl he had given up for adoption. He found her in California and 6 months later returned to Windsor and begged Molly to take him back. She did.

John Weber Married Edith Dickey (Chilberg) in 1939. They adopted two children Janith who was born on Aug. 10 1942 and John who was born on Sept 21 1944.

John Weber served in the US Army Medical Cor. at Fitzimmans Army Air Base. He became a US citizen around 1937. John Weber owned his own company called Renewel Guarentee Corp. which was a company dealing with loaning insurance and money. After he was bought out of his company he relocated to California where he worked in a company doing the same thing. He suffered a stroke around 1974 which caused him to retire.

John Weber died on Aug 4 1981 of a massive heart attack while he was eating soup at a resturant in St. George Utah. He is buried in Las Vegas Nevada.
