Welcome to our site It is dedicated to preserving our Hackstock family heritage and ancestry. Other ancestors include: Allen, Balch, Brand, Burdick, Gerard, Hancock, Hubbard, Jackson, Lewis, McClure, McCullough, Patrick, Pease, Rhoades, Schreiner, Spencer, Tuttle, and Withrow. Thanks to the help of fellow researchers, family members, and look-up volunteers, this site contains a number of scanned documents pertaining to our ancestors and their descendants. This collection is always growing, so check back periodically to see what's new. By adding links to relevant websites to this collection, we have created individual 'resource pages.' To simplify your search, these are organized in three ways: by ancestor, locality, and document type. Use the drop-down boxes at the top of this page to quickly access each page. Because there are so many people in a family tree, it can be very confusing
trying to figure out who's who and what's what. So, I decided to compile
a 'pedigree chart,' which will visually explain who the Hackstocks are.
To me, they are my mother and her two sisters and brother: Patricia, Betty,
Penny and Richard. If you ask my mom, they are "The Hackstock Kids"
- four baby boomers born during World War II to Richard George Hackstock
and Marjorie Deon Patrick. To view the chart (in a new window), click
