Susan DeYoung nee Kramer

birthdate: 9 Sep 1863

Netherlands, Holland; Het Bildt, St. Jacobiparochie

deathdate: 1 Sep 1889

died of typhoid fever, in Racine, WI

Buried in Mound Cemetary.

My name is Gwynn.

I am a member of the San Diego Genealogical Society. As of October 2009 I will join the North San Diego County Genealogical Society and plan to be involved there as well.

I was the chair for the Lost Treasures Committee for the San Diego Genealogical Society for one year. We placed homeless Bibles, Photos and misc. documents with the next of kin or nearest archives. I wrote volunteer guidelines and updated the inventory of items for placement.

I was also a library volunteer who helped visitors and other SDGS members with their research and gave library orientations. I participated in the Raw Notes project in which volunteers recorded information from handwritten notes and documents to be included in online database.  I wrote volunteer guidelines for this project.

I enjoy drawing, painting, photography (see my photography above) crafts and genealogy.

Please take a look at my genealogy tutorial, I hope it will help any budding genealogists to get started!

I have also included links to pictures of the following families and a short paragraph about them: Dahlberg, Sankey and Riddell.

I am researching the following surnames:

Darling, Dow, Stonequist, Thayer, Riddell, Sankey, Malcolm, Graham, Hawkins, Byal and Ward.

These are the main families but I have several other collateral lines.

I am working on putting up more time lines and research notes: I have the following families/surnames so far:

DeYoung (Dutch: DeJong) Christian and Susan Kramer

Dahlberg, Phillip

Sankey Family of Centre County, PA
