Ongoing Project
Veterans of Guysborough County Book


Research is currently underway for a book to capture and preserve the identities of the Guysborough County veterans. Every veteran who served in World War One and World War Two will be listed along with a summary of their military information.

Within this book, the authors hope to capture the names, faces, thoughts, memories and history of those who served to keep Canada a free country. The authors are proud of these men and women, and through this book they hope to keep their spirits alive and educate future generations about their history.
