DAVID GROVER FAMILY RESEARCH

For my branch of the Grovers, there are 6 families that play important roles in my personal family history.
They are the Grover, Peart, George, Jamieson, Delorey and Jalotta families.
Of these six old Guysborough County families I have good information on five of the six.
Here is what I have:

Grover family from approx 1781 to 1930:
This info is taken mainly from our Grover family bible and some research at the NS archives that I did 25 years ago. However, most of this info is now readily available via published internet family histories.

Peart family from approx 1750 to 1930:
The info is taken from our Peart family bible and Peart family info from the internet.

Jamieson family from approx 1760 to 1930:
This info is mostly taken from the excellent info already published on the internet.

George family from approx 1769 to 1930:
This info is weaved together by using a bunch of good family histories available on the internet.

Delorey (Des Lauriers/Jacquet) family from approx 1640 to 1930:
This info is taken from work done by Monica Hull (nee Delorey) and research done by a historian from University of New Brunswick.

I have stopped all the info. at approx 1930 to protect the personal info of people in these families that are still living.
