It is thought that Richard & Susan in the 1871 census were not married. There is a death of Susan Coe 16th March 1878 at Rollesby Workhouse (aged 47) Flegg District March Quarter 1878 ref 4b 28. This fits in with her age in 1871. There is also a marriage of Elizabeth Coe Flegg District March Quarter 1884 ref 4b 45, although on the 1881 census she is shown as a Guymer. There are no baptisms recorded in the Martham PR's for Stephen, Elizabeth or either Sarah Ann
