Florian Guppy and Winifred Guest in India

Florian Guppy met his future wife, Winifred Guest, at a cricket match while he was attending Pembrook College, Oxford. In 1906, the one-week-married couple moved to the State of Madras, India, where Florian took up a career as a magistrate in the India Civil Service. Here are some photos taken during that period. (note that these are scanned from glass negatives, some of which are in poor shape.)
