Gulline Family History

This is a photograph of Henry Lawrence Gulline's brother. We think his name is Charles and suspect he was born around 1860 although no birth record has been found. Charles appears on the 1890 Seattle Census as a Fire Extinguisher Agent. The woman is unknown.

This is Henry's father. According to Henry's marriage certificate his name is John Gulline, probably born around 1835. Although he may have been born in Scotland it is believed that he was a Cotton Merchant in Liverpool. No birth, marriage or death record has been found for John and it appears that he isn't on the 1881 UK census.

This is a photograph of Henry with his sister Laura. We suspect that Laura is younger than Henry but she has never appeared on any census and no birth or marriage records have been found.

This is Henry's mother. According to Henry's marriage certificate her name is Cecilia Annie but the surname is still unknown. Nothing can be found for Cecilia but a marriage to the above John would reveal her 'real' name.

This is a photograph of my father Peter Cyril Gulline. He was born in 1941 and this photo was taken in April 1964. He died in April 2000.

This is the Gulline crest.

My dad had this mahogany wall plaque made many years ago by an unknown company. The company researched the crest but I have never been able to ascertain where their information came from
