35. Rebecca MOORE 1, 2, 3 (James , John Jackson ) was born on 6 Apr 1812 in Rutherford Co, NC. She died before 1840.

CHILDREN: I am not sure how many children Rebecca had, or what their names were. There is conflicting documentation about both her children and her death date. Some say she died in 1842, but the marriage record for Green Lovelace and Marthy Nichols show they married 14 Sep 1840. I have not been able to find Green and Martha in the 1850 census, but William (age 16), Daniel (age17), Rebecca (age 15), and Benjamin (age 14) are living in the household of Nancy Lovelace, age 60, in H/H 1300/1332 in 1850 Rutherford Co, NC census (image 120). These children would have been born about 1834, 1833, 1835, and 1836, respectively. Green and Martha (H/H 82/80) are living between William (H/H 77/75) and Daniel (H/H 86/84) in 1860 Rutherford County. I have seen Leander (Lee) and John Lovelace listed as the children of Green and Rebecca, but, according to the 1860 Rutherford County census they were born about 1845 and 1847, respectively so they would have been the children of Green and Martha. I have also seen an Albert Lovelace listed as a child of Green and Rebecca, but have not found him in any census. (lfg, 1 Aug 2002)
