DEATH OF MRS. ALFRED GOFF

"Mrs. Susanah Jones Goff, wife of Alfred Goff, passed away at her home in Milford, February 5, following an operation for cancer in Salt Lake City, December 27, 1919.
She leaves behind a husband, four children, one brother, eight sisters and many friends and relatives to mourn her untimely loss."

DEATH: Records show that she indeed had an operation for cancer on December 27, 1919, and died on February 5, 1920 of liver cancer. I recontacted the only possible personal source in Paragonah, Utah again to go over what she knew for sure. (Judy Goff Cook)

BIRTH: (Note from Judy Goff Cook) This is what I concur at this point--she was born in 1919 (so change the records to read that.)
I believe she must have died a little before her mother--and possibly at about the time Susannah became ill and had her operation. The baby was buried, and when Susannah died, they just put them in the same plot, not the same casket, and did one headstone with her name included on it. For some reason, they didn't put the baby's birthdate on Susannah's headstone.
