Harriett married 1 (2) George E. MULLENS on 15 Aug 1905 in Boone Co, MO. The marriage ended in divorce. They were divorced before 1910 in Columbia, Boone, MO. George was born 2 about 1873 in IL.

654. Margaret J GOFF "Maggie" 1, 2, 3 (John T GOFF , Thomas GOFF , Daniel GOFF , Stephen GOFF , Samuel , Aaron , Phillip ) was born in Feb 1885 in MO. She died about 6 Nov 1925. The cause of death was injuries from a car accident.

DEATH: A letter from the IL SOS office states that she didn't die in IL. I will keep looking in MI, IA and WI.
See notes on George Buller about the investigation on her death.

Margaret married 1 George BULLER son of Henry BULLER and Martha J HEAD on 13 Jul 1901 in Fulton, Callaway Co, MO. George was born 2, 3, 4 on 22 Nov 1873 in Alton, Madison, IL. He died on 12 Nov 1925 in Columbia, Boone, MO.

In the 1920 Boone Co Census, his parents are listed as being born in Illinois.
Buller researcher, Cherly Sparks-Woolsey indicates that George and Maggie had another son.

DEATH: George's brother, Harvey died Dec. 8 1824. His obituary states that at that time George and William Buller were living in Columbia. Yet in Nov. 1925, William is not living in Columbia or HE would have handled things so Otis could stay in Moline. Otis Buller was not very well informed as to what was going on in George's life. Otis wrote Married in the box and then crossed it out and wrote widdo (his spelling). Now think for a moment, If Maggie and George had been involved in a fatal car accident just 6 days previous would Otis have written Married and then on second thought crossed it out and written widowed, especially if this fatal car accident had occured in or on the way to or from a visit to Moline. Come on, the fact the Maggie had died just 6 days before his brother would have been foremost in his mind. What Otis did indicates to me that he was not thinking about Maggie being recently deceased, but that Maggie had died sometime previous to George and that in his grief he did not immediately remember her death. I'm not saying that this is the case, but to me the most likely scenario is that Maggie died in 1923 from childbirth complications and George died from complications of a work related accident. He was 52 at the time of his death. Maybe the auto accident was in reference to John and Mary Goff's deaths.
