They brought James mother back to MO and later moved to KS. Susannah Jane (Berry) Pulliam died 27 Aug 1883 Anthony, Harper Co., KY. Some of the Hall/Pulliam/Joyner family had moved to Washington Terr. A daughter in WA convinced James and Sarah to move there. So Sarah£s
diary starts again in 1888 and on a daily basis on 14 May 1889 from KS when they started the trip to the Oregon Trail and on to King Co., WA, and ends on 21 Jan 1892 back in Pettis Co. MO. She and James did go back later to WA but by train.
DEATH: Riding to get cattle, got wet, got pneumonia, and from complications thereof. His mother had died three months before.
